Sell your place in downtown Austin now! There's the whole 6th Street live music club scene to the warehouse district where there is also live music and wonderful restaurants. An innovative young man named Chris Nielsen has started a business called Capitol Cruisers and it is an 6-seater electric cart taxi that takes people from club to club. This is an excellent alternative to pedicabs and trying to find a taxi that will take you two blocks isn't easy. Downtown Austin is amazing! It has always been a nice place for restaurants, and, of course, the University of Texas and all of the Capitol buildings are downtown, but go there now and your head will spin around at all of the high rise condos going up. Many more are planned. I am from Austin and this still amazes me.

The LBJ Presidential Library, the University of Texas and the state have many interesting museums to go through, not to mention the Bob Bulluck Museum. And,then go watch the bats fly out from under the Congress Street Bridge!
Property values downtown have soared through the roof the last couple of years. It's a good place to go have invest.
There are many lovely hotels to stay in here. The Hyatt Regency, The Four Seasons, The Omni, The Hilton, the Stephen F Austin, the Driskill, just to name a few.
