Brodie Springs, in Austin, Texas, is a new subdivision of luxury homes in Southwest Austin.  The subdivision was started by Glenhaven Homes, a builder with a new name, but the builder himself has actually been around for a long time here in Austin and has an excellent reputation.  He had been with Newmark Homes for at least 20 years and knows what he is doing. These homes are all luxury custom homes on estate size lots. There are large trees throughout the subdivision as the architect and the builders and developers were very careful to leave as many existing trees as possible. It shows. This is a neighborhood of luxury homes starting in the 400's.

I like this subdivision because it is on Brodie Lane very close to Slaughter Lane.  From Slaughter, if you went to the right (East) you could be on Interstate 35 quickly. If you went to the left, you would pass right by award winning Bowie High School and be on Mopac. From Mopac you could be downtown in about 10 minutes.

There is ample shopping within a couple of blocks from the entrance of this subdivision.  Several restaurants, banks, coffee shops, a great jeweler that I use myself, a Randall's grocery store, gas stations and probably anything else you could want. The kicker is while driving down Brodie you barely see these homes because of the way they are all set back from the road. The entrance, however, is gorgeous.
